Dear All,

My 997.2 has smelly aircon. It is cold, but smells damp and dusty. I have been told by OPC Hatfield that it needs a full air-con service for c. £200 + vat. A regas would be c. £50..

Is this correct? Is the price about right?

Cheers
Jack

Leave the car on with the air con on full heat, max temperature.

May not work, but that's what I've done previously and it did the trick (albeit on a BMW)

My L322 Range Rover had a similar problem; it had some bacteria in the system which needed clearing. Land Rover told me which products they normally use and rather than pay the £200 they were asking for labour, I did it myself for £5. All you need is Fortron Air Conditioning Treatment...

You will be able to buy it here:
