tracing a cars history
Discussion
I have been trying to get in contact with all my cars old owners, 10 in all in order to find its history , where it was first bought from etc. I have been in touch with porsche gb and they have no history on the car, except it was a porsche gb car from new,I have called all and i mean all the opc's which apart from one, had no history of it visiting any of them. I have hit a wall pre 2002 its milage then was 88000. If anyone has any information on how i can find out its supplying dealer then please let me know, many thanks in advance,
ps I have all mots going back to 2003

For just £5 the DVLA will supply all the previous owners details.
If you supply the reason of restoring a car to original and the previous owners will able to help you with that, thats usually enough.

Matt

I run Silkolne 5w40 Pro S (now rebraned as Fuchs) in my Targa 4S
and even that had its moment when blasting through the mountains in Germany, oil pressure dropped on teh hottest day and gave me a scare. Reading some of teh US forums this seems normal at higher temps,
and redlining it consistently uphill certainly generates those.
I definately wouldn;t run a 0 weight for a trip like that
