Looks lovely, dont know why people are scared to be different on PH, on teamspeed and the other US forums everybody has different wheels
The Americans assume bigger is better. If you are not driving a chipped turbo s on 22inch wheels, you are missing out. Also, unless it is a track slag, modifying your car with parts not from from the OEM list classes you with the VAG/Jap lot, and will land you in the PH Classified Horrors thread.
Porsche ethos used to be a polar opposite of bigger, better, brasher. I think most of the community still think that way even if most of their production (Cayenne, Pan, 911) are now lardy arses with big bling.

I'm a bit of an old fart, it's true, but I like a bit of sidewall on my tyres.
For a high-performance car I would suggest that 18" hits the sweet spot for handling, grip, ride, tyre cost & availability, wheel durability and aesthetics.
I agree. The 991 on 18 inches is my favourite. For a high-performance car I would suggest that 18" hits the sweet spot for handling, grip, ride, tyre cost & availability, wheel durability and aesthetics.
