Chaps and Chapettes, After 12 months of bliss I've sold my 997 Turbo S today, the last drive in it on the way to the dealership certainly was a bitter sweet one. Just fondly reflecting on what a phenomenal all round car it has been (best all rounder ever) and through rain ,sun , snow and the occasional track/ vmax day ;-) it never missed a beat.
For anyone who's considering one of these - I would say without hesitation DO IT !! It is simply so fast and capable, and covers so many bases I think I really will miss it and there will probably be a void in my life which may not be filled until the 991 Turbo finally arrives.
Ah....going back to the Bitter Sweet heading, a new arrival lands this weekend. I always be a Porsche man but this is a touch different. It's Italian, Its V10, and apparently "Superlight* !

Arguably it's german and near;y 1/3 of the company is owned by Porsche anyway. Enjoy
