BAS International - Anybody used or heard of them?
Discussion
Hi,
I'm thining of changing the plastic window in my Boxster for a glass one. There's no rush, the plastic in mine has been replaced fairly recently by the previous owner, but I thought towards the end of summer before the weather changes would be a good time so I could avoid any problems in the winter with the plastic window.
I have found this company (BAS International) on the net and was wondering if anybody had used them, or knew of anybody that had and could let me know if they're any good and the quality of the job?
Thanks

Hi - I replaced my Boxters roof with a BAS item last year and can vouch for the quality of the product. There's alot of information about replacement roofs over on Boxanet and I have never heard anything other than praise for the BAS system. It is expensive though; I think mine was in the the region of ~£830 fitted. However, my old roof was looking a bit second-hand, the plastic had cracked (which is around a £250 replacement on it's own) and having a heated rear screen and being able to use the roof in the way it was intended made it worth the money...
Yep, heard of them, investigated all this very recently but ended up going with Car Hood Warehouse on Tuesday, my report is here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=48...
There seemed nothing in it when choosing between the two and Car Hood did me a great price fully fitted including VAT, granted not as low as BAS's winter £575 offer but from my call they have no intention of repeating that, but my price wasn't a lot more and nowhere near £875.
These guys are also well recommended and a site sponsor at Boxa.net I beleive.
