What front offset does a 997 C2S run?
Discussion
Hi there
OK daft question I am trying to find out what offset my car runs at the front, it is a 2006 model C2S with PCCB upgrade.
Does anyone know what the offset would be or how I can find out?
I need this because I am taking off the ceramics and want to try some steels, but Wizard has informed me GT3 front disc and Turbo front disc have different offsets and only one will fit my car. So I need to know if a C2S with PCCB has the same front offset as a GT3 or Turbo before I potentially go buying disc which won't fit.
Please help.
P.S. If anyone knows anybody selling a set of take off front ceramics (350mmx34mm) for a 997 let me know.

If I remember correctly...... 57 at the front 67 at the rear.
I *think* the offset is actually printed on the wheels themselves.
Yep just checked the wheels, 57 on the fronts and 67 on the rears.I *think* the offset is actually printed on the wheels themselves.
So for rear disc I can use either GT3 or Turbo as the offset is the same on both of those.
But for the front disc, I need to know which disc to buy, GT3 or Turbo as I am told they are both different. So Turbo and GT3 owners what is your front offsets please?

Daft question from me.... Why not use C2S.1 steels (calipers/discs/pads)? OK daft question I am trying to find out what offset my car runs at the front, it is a 2006 model C2S with PCCB upgrade.

As said above, they're the same as 996 Turbo brakes (i.e. designed for a faster car than the 997S.1, so well up to the job) and they're guaranteed to fit. They're also available from the likes of Design 911 / Euro Car Parts at relatively cheap prices. The OE discs are Sebro and the pads Textar. Calipers are available from breakers at sensible money if you don't want to go new.

On the 996 model the different offset was due to the 4wd front hubs. If this rings true with the 997 then you would need the GT3 part. Easiest way to check is to see if the GT3 ceramic disc and your C2S ceramic disc has the same part number.OK daft question I am trying to find out what offset my car runs at the front, it is a 2006 model C2S with PCCB upgrade.
