We got a Boxster (pics)
Discussion
Picked up our "new" boxster a couple of weeks ago so thought I'd share a couple of photos.
It's a 2005 Boxster S, tiptronic S, 19" carrera wheels, sat nav, sport chrono, BOSE and a few other toys. Wife and I share it as a weekend car and we love it so far. I ran a 2.7 Cayman (manual) for a year before this, so this is technically my second venture into Porsche ownership. We had to get a tiptronic so that we could both drive it, and I was adamant that it had to be an S. Coming from a 7-speed dual clutch box in my Audi to a 5 speed tiptronic had me worried, but I have to say that the tiptronic is not bad at all. It shifts quickly and seems to be good at getting a feel for how sportily you want to drive at any given time. The older style up/down buttons on the steering wheel are more intuitive than the newer in/out switches in my opinion.
Here it is, being detailed not long after we picked it up.

and a couple more, making the most of a rare glimpse of sunshine with the roof down.

Hoping to take it on some longer trips when the time allows and also thinking of heading down to Goodwood Revival this year. Never been before - is it worth the trip?
Cheers
