Heya,

Does anyone know what comes as standard on the new Boxster S vs the standard Boxster? Is it just a bigger engine or does it come with additional options as standard that make it worthwhile?

For a friend and I'm not familiar! smile

Also....has anyone picked one up yet? If so, what's it like? How's it going? Anyone able to give a good over view in terms of how one of these drives vs. a Cayman S / 997?

Thanks!

There is a whole thread about specs etc in the Porsche section have a look at older threads.

It's funny that everyone that posts about Boxters say it's for a friend or the wife...

It's for my sister - the Boxster is a prettier car than the 991 imo.

In summary iirc

Xenons
Leather
Bigger wheels
Twin exhaust
More power

As state plenty have driven the car but not sure anybody has go their yet

Think a couple of us should be the first to get customer cars in a week or so, they have been completed today.

Note Xenons is basic Xenons with no washers and no range control, if you want that, get PDLS.

Leather is seats, armrests only, not full leather interior

S also has larger brake discs in front (330 v 315 for Boxster)
