Telephone Initilisation problem 997tt
Discussion
Hi all,
Since I took delivery of my car in March (2008 model 997 tt) the phone on the PCM does not initialize , the sim is fine as I use it in my iphone.
The car does have the phone system included on the PCM2 before you ask ha ha.
The OPC where I purchased the car from said that if the SIM holds more than 100 contacts then it wll not work! Is this true??
I tried aother SIM today and still the same problem!
I have to take the car in to the OPC next week to have an isue corrected anyway so will get them to take a look at it.
Anyone had similar problems? got a solution?
Thank you in anticipation

Check to see if your car has the phone module fitted, this was an extra and cost about £200.
However the module is no longer available from Porsche and is no longer manufactured. Porsche will not / cannot supply it.
I have this problem with my 2007 GT3, with PCM, but still no phone.
When I tried to buy module my car was under 3 years old, what a JOKE.
