Is this a sign of the financial situation, or have I missed something... yes, I see it's not an S, but looks good value...

The 'S' is easily £90k+ with a few 'desirable' options spec'd on it....

Base vehicle is around £72k, however I know that's without park assist or sports chrono, not sure about the rest of the items listed

I have seen a few about- I'm not an ardent fan, it's subjective- I think the 997.1 looks cleaner- more cohesive. But then I still love the E39.2!

What gives?

Saw my first 991 in the wild tonight. Black heading east on A14.

First thoughts, big and Panamerish from the rear. D

Brave boy.

This new 911 of yours - seems to spend a lot of time being fixed.

+1.

It seems to have gone from the site, so did someone else see it as a good deal? My current Box is an ex-demonstrator. I bought it as it got to 6 months old at which point their starting price was 20% off list and end up at around 23% when we closed (although it had done 5k miles so many more than this one). I realise with a much newer model like this the discounting may be less but, there again, I don't get the sense they are exactly flying off the forecourts at present. I think I have still only seen one on the road so far.

Yes, it does doesn't it. Nothing major, but a few irritating minor issues which as far as I can make out are nothing to do with it being a new model. I'm off to the OPC again this morning to do some testing with them and hopefully I'll have it back by the weekend. On the bright side though, I am putting the miles on their cars rather than mine and it's been a long time since I've needed to make my own coffee.

don't understand this at all ..

991's rear looks nothing like a Panamera rear, which really is hideous

Oh is that all! I'd only being going by gossip on here that the new 991 was £90K now. What we need is more buyers to buy the entry level, non-S model, preferable with manual gearbox for mid 70's then, so there'll be a ready supply of those 2nd hand in a few years time for the less rich of us!

Are you not a teensy bit hacked off though?
Or does the 'free' coffee, croissants and an ogle of the service receptionists breasts pacify you?
