Porsche Boxster Preview - Guildford

My first preview at an OPC and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The best looking Boxster to date in my view.

0-60 in 4.8 (pdk) and quicker around the Nurburgring than the 996 GT3 according to a Porsche GB spokesperson.

The price is also very attractive and with that performance I'm quite tempted to book a test drive, available from the 5th May at Guildford. Having said that apparently they are expecting more 2wd GTS back in on the 'approved used' next year around late £50's :-).

Do you know if the silver one is Platinum or GT Silver or something else?

It is Platinum. Looked great - glad because that's the colour I've ordered!

Me too. It looks better in some lights than others. This month's Car mag has a test of a 991 Cab in Platinum Silver and it looks different colours in different pictures, a lovely rich silver in some and almost gold in others.

Would love to see more pics of the Platinum launch car if anyone has any ...

That's great, thanks. Platinum is on my spec list too; however, I've gone for a blue roof and interior, with matt 20" wheels.
