Forget who is selling the cars for a moment.
2006, 45,000 miles, £35,000
or
2007, 31,000 miles, £38,000
That already looks like a no brainer. Then factor-in the levels of preparation, piece of mind, and the 2 year warranty that come with the approved car....
What are you waiting for?!

I would (and I did) buy from RSJRSJ 06 plate 45k miles a lot of extras PSE PASM Multichanger £35k. No Porsche warranty Any feelings on which path I take
You would get the car you want with the decent spec and if you are worried you can add a warranty which would take the price to 36k. You would not have to go to an OPC for things like battery being changed etc either!
Any further details on the cars in question? Are they both the same engine (3.6 or 3.8)
