My brother has just bought a 2007 cayenne s and it does not appear to have either Bluetooth or a method of connecting an iPod/iPhone. We assumed (incorrectly) that these were standard, is there an aux port or a way to connect iPod?
Thanks for your help.

If its got PCM 2 then there is no way of connecting an iPhone to the system aside from installing a mObridge or something similar.

If your brother has a Porsche warranty on the vehicle, unfortunately he can't do that as that installation of any non-porsche approved equipment voids the warranty. The two options are an after market FM tuner or Porsche do their own FM tuner. Both do the job, not well but they do the job - bear in mind that's for music only, not iPhone integration for phone use.

Thanks for the reply, the car has a slot to input sim card however, not an iPhone sim!

You have ability to insert your sim into the PCM - I've bought a PAYG sim for my 997 and top it up accordingly.

The Porsche ICE solutions, PCM 1 and 2 are frankly absolutely st. PCM 3 is better with touch screen and iPhone connectivity but BMW, Merc and others are waaayyyyy ahead on in car technology.

But I suppose they don't drive as well so you can't have everything wink

Great idea. He traded a 1 year old range rover 4.4 tdv8 autobiography for the cayenne, petrol v8 made the difference by all accounts!!

My cayenne uses a Denison link system that gives me iPhone compatibility with iPod connections as well, works well, and steering wheel controls operate it, although its not super intuitive to change tracks etc through the controls on the dash.

Well worth it though.

It's been on the car for over a year, and never affected the Porsche warranty yet? It's been in three times, and never mentioned.
