Bose Speaker - Loose connection or blown speaker?

Hi - I have a 2006 997.1 with the Bose speaker upgrade package. One of the front right speakers (the larger one) periodically sounds like it's flapping (It's not just when I listen to Radio 1 ) and but other times it's fine so I'm really not sure whats going on.

I understand it's quite a complex process to remove the speaker, not as simple as removing the grill plate to check connections.

Any help would be appreciated
