997 Gen 1 Replacement LED daytime running lights

Anyone fitted these to there car? whats your thoughts on them as there not genuine Porsche parts

Yes I have, I ordered them from www.dectane.de, very easy to fit, took me 10 minutes. No error messages, and almost indistinguishable from Gen 2 lights. Drop me a PM and i'll happily email you photos. The shape is ever so slightly different in the bottom right corner so as to not require a bumper mod.

What benefit does this bring to a Gen 1? Or do you just want it to look like a Gen 2?

Hope these help - The honeycomb structure to the lenses would appear to look exactly the same when compared side by side to a Gen 2. The "lights on" shot shows lights and break lights on, bit blurry but shows where they illuminate
