Mate, the car has done around 6500 miles a year on average, its low mileage for its age!

It's not high mileage.

I ran a 996 from 19000 to 100000 over 6 years with very little spending.

maybe its just me being silly, I see 45k as high! I realise yearly its sod all, I just worry that I would be paying for part after part....

how much would you guess then for yearly running costs, minus fuel and tyres?

If its got the appropriate service history and warranty then absolutely it would be fine

Someone came to look at the 06 997 C2 I am selling with 34,600 miles on it and, as he rightly pointed out, its about the condition of the car more than what it says on the clock.

Unfortunately it was "the wrong colour" for him. Not sure what colour he was expecting given that he had already seen photos and read the description 'acrtic silver' but hey ho

I bought mine with 55k on the clock, 12 months on I've covered an addiitional 5k and (touching lots of wood), no issues.

German cars... should be good for plenty more than that.

45k I would class as average mileage.

I ran a 996 from 29k to 99k without any major problems. Treated it nicely, but drove the sh t out of it.

I love those people who think that a Porsche needs changing at 40,000 miles. They've taken the worst depreciation hit and sorted out any issues under warranty for people like me who are looking for a sensible buy.
