Just seen this at OPC Sheffield

Buckets, sports exhaust, ceramics, PDK - £70k new.

What do you thinks as a weekend toy ansd occasional trackday car?

It has LSD too.

Tbh, if spending £45k on a Cayman, it'd be rude not to have the R.

I know what you're saying but you need £55k+ for the same spec on an R.

I can't pay >£40k on a plastic dash - so it needs leather interior. PDK and Sports Chrono with the Sports Exhaust is a rare combination. The leather buckets make it as close to an R as I've seen and in value for money terms - outstanding, as long as it doesn't keep dropping like a stone.

in that case, and if this spec suits you, i wouldn't pay 10k more for the 'R' either (£55k). It's a cracking spec that S is!

Best spec I've seen - brilliant looking car. And white ones are the fastest for sure... Congrats!

This S really looks fantastic. Whilst the R is a great car, I don't think it's that far away from an S IMHO.

Thanks for all the kind words. My only slight negatives are the steering wheel - I will give it 6 months and if I don't gel with it I can always change to the flappy paddle one. And I think it needs a side stripe - so I've ordered a set of the Cayman R ones which simply say "Porsche" rather than the "Cayman S" as they have the part in front of the front wheel which look better to my eye.

Can't really make it out in the photos but does it have all the proper interior trim. Can't see any stichwork down the sides of the PCM or along the doors....]

Appreciate this isn't important for a track hack, but theres a lot of plastic in the standard cabin.
