Cayman S - what did you get with your car?

Dear PHers,

I need some help. My dealer in Jersey sold me a Cayman S a while ago. It was a demo car, only 30miles on the dial when I bought it, looking great in black. Very, very happy with the machine itself.

However, I have not received anything with the car. No manuals, no service card etc. I am now going to make a deal out of this and chase my dealer up. But I want to know if there is anything else that is delivered with the car normally. It is the first time I bought a new car and I don't want to miss out on anything that I should have received. So anyone out there that bought a Cayman/Cayman S in the UK, please let me know what you received with it.

Hello fellow islander!

Good luck receiving some sort of 'service' out of Ian at jacksons.

Just about manages to talk to you if you are buying a car and may acknowledge you outside of those occasions.

My hand over and purchase was poor.

Not seen your cayman around the roads.

Yes, Ian is a bit of a .... character. Dealt with Jonas, who has been great at first but now that I need something of him doesn't seem to be very helpful either. I might try going to Porsche GB, not sure if that would help me.

Nice Boxster, if I see you I'll knock on the window. If all goes well my 458 should be arriving in a week or two, black with red roof, come and have a chat if you see her around.
