Man Maths Help
Discussion
Posting on behalf of my boss.
He currently owns a 07 Boxster S, with about 60k on it, and he wants to chop it in (worth 14k?)
He is in two minds what way to go about it.
Option 1 is to add 5k or so to the trade in value and get one slightly newer (08 for 21k)
Option 2 is to lease a new one for a few years, trading in each time
Option 3 is to buy a new one.
Ideally he wants to do 3, but cannot justify it. I mentioned man maths, as I'm sure it would work that way...
So over to the good people of PH, make the man maths work so he can justify a new one, rather than a 2nd hand one.
(oh, and I have already told him to get a proper Porsche!)

Nobody else make the man maths work either?
Sadly not - Boxsters are a big depreciator and by the time you spec them up the story gets far worse - with the pricing of the latest model you can get a lot of not very old 911 for the money. Man maths cannot help here, he has to want one, have the funds and not give a flying one to buy with conviction because it is what he wants and because he can!Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
