Buying a high milage 996

I am off to look at a carrera this week but wondered whether there is Anything specific I should be looking out for? It has just Over 100k miles and I've been told it has good service history and a clutch change at 90k miles. I can check the usual things easily enough but are there any carrera specific things to look for? I don't want to look like a fool when I arrive either so could someone tell me where the rad Cap is so I can do the usual mayo check.

I have also been researching engine failures with these engines. I understand it is only a small number that suffer From this however if it was to happen it would be crippling. I have looked into the servicing/warrenty deals offered By hartec which allow monthly payments but wondered if there was Anyone on the south coast that Could be recommended? I spend my time travelling From Devon to Cambridgeshire via Portsmouth so somewhere in the bottom half of the Country would be preferred for servicing/Mot and more.

Any general pointers would be appreciated. I have looked On the search feature for general buying guides but there doesn't seem to be anything specifically relating to high milage examples.
