After a fair bit of searching, i have finally found my new car. I have paid the deposit, and booked the train tickets (Derby to Guildford opc). I am already like a cat on a hot tin roof, can't wait.

His other topic was '997 Turbo Cab wanted' so I'm guessing it's a 997 Turbo Cab?
ETA - and congratulations whatever it is!

Just what I was thinking re: price - nice low miles on it too. This thread will require pics tomorrow!

Nice, but years ago having a black car it was a right bugger to keep clean!

Having owned a few colours of car, I don't think black is any more difficult than the rest, but when it's clean and shiny, it definitely looks the best.

Looks great! Never been a fan of those wheels but that car looks very "right".

That is stuning. I drive a 2002 all black 996 and for some time cannot justify spending lots more on a 997 cab let alone the turbo. But you are a long time dead so well done for going for it and driving the dream, you probably sit in the top 1-2% of car owners in the Uk as not many spend that sort of money. The problems you will face will be leaving it any where at all without lard monsters keying it or parking next to it in an attempt to open their doors into it!!!

Stunning piece of kit enjoy.
