997 C2s temperature

Hi gents,
What should be the normal operating temperature for a C2s when warm? My gauge seems to settle around 100 which seems high to me, my friends Caymen R settles around 80? Any cause for concern? Thanks in advance.

Mine hasn't ever gone that high.

Worth booking in for a check up.

My oil has only ever got to 90odd and the coolant has only ever got to around 80odd. If you have temps higher than this I would say first of all, check your oil and coolant levels and then book it in for a check up.

My 2009 997 C2S always settles at 12 o'clock, 80 degrees.

Have you checked coolant level; if OK, probably worth getting checked out.

Mine used to be similar for oil temp, has also gone up past 110 when spanking it.. Then had the low temp thermo fitted at Hartech, now it hovers around or a bit below 90 most of the time.
Coolant temp is a solid 80 all the time.

Same with my C2s. Check, then check-up
