Hello all,
I want to upgrade the suspension on my 2002 996 Turbo.
Choices are:
X73
PSS9/10
KW.

Ideally I want a lower ride height, less body roll etc.
Anyone got any opinions, both good and bad?
Thanks
Jay

Dont lower, will spoil the travel distance on the 996t.

Option:-

Pss10, Adjustable Arbs, GT3 engine mounts, 997t tranny mount. You could then also look at the other components depending on their condition and any delamination. If you really want to push the boat then there are always the RSS parts, some of which are not much more expensive than the OPC parts.

Cheaper option is the Bilstien B6 damper, but Pss10 are adjustable whereas the B6 are a gas filled version of the oil filled B4 you have on their now...

X73 is no longer available.
KW is for golfs and Civics

KW is the choice of the factory backed Manthey Racing team (multiple winners of the N24hr).

Hi,

Have just picked up my 996 Turbo S which has had the KW v3 kit fitted. All I can say is wow - massive, massive improvement IMO over the stock set up. Everything is set in the middle for now and I'll get it tweaked after a couple of hundred miles. Ride is firmer there is no doubt, but it is less crashy over rough stuff and transformed through the twisties. Corners much flatter and feels way more responsive and balanced than before.

I have nothing to compare to other than stock, but I would say KW all the way.

Cheers

This.
Other plus is that KW customer care is excellent.
