Just got to share this....I have been getting my 993 back to pristine condition. I bought it a couple of years ago and it came fitted with aero spoiler on the back and front splitters, a look I'm not too sure suits it. I've just put it back to standard and it looks just amazing. New standard front splitters were fitted and painted and I sourced a boot lid from ebay. The lid (black) was disassembled and the spoiler painted to match the car. I had the front resprayed due to heavy stone chipping at the same time. I've just refitted the spoiler mechanism, reconnected the control box and amazingly it all works...first time!!! I've played with my 964 boot lid mechanism before and it was a complete pain to fault find, I can't get over how easily the 993 went back together. I'm over the moon....now just got to get the wheels refurbed to finish the job. Look out for a 993 aero kit on ebay......

Thanks, I couldn't believe it went on no trouble at all. Before

....and after.

I think it looks great back as standard!

A rep actually not a real one unfortunately...yours looks fab! I bought a nice condition 964 and had it rebuilt by Jasmine. Engine by unit 11 (c320 bhp), fully rebuilt body work, adjustable bilsteins, RS clutch and flywheel, cage, recaros, BBS magnesium wheels...all the nice bits! Its great, featured in a few magazines 4 years ago. I built it to track but its just too nice to damage....goes to Le Mans once a year and gets polished alot! I only do about a 1,000 miles a year in it. Picture below.

I think I saw it when it was dropped off at Unit 11 for everything to be done - looked nice then, but much better finished!

Thanks. The engine is just fantastic, unit 11 did a super job. I always wanted a minty one! I just don't use it enough, a few times a year. I've contemplated selling it but I don't think I would find anything that is as much fun to drive.
