Hi all, I want to get my wheels refurbed but dont want to leave my car with them.

I have got some spare 5x100 wheels in my garage that came off my vw golf, do you think they would fit? I wont be using the car,i just did not want to have to leave the car on stands.

Does it matter if they fit? You could just stand the car on the old wheel rims. idea

Why not just pull one wheel off and try it?

just ring chris at exelwheels, you will get the best refurb you have ever seen and he will bring some loan wheels for you to ride about on whilst he gets your done (about 1 week). Basically he does all the work...

Wheel refurb for £50 each.

Sounds incredible value? Are they going to be stripped and refinished or just filled and resprayed?

Yeah I've had wheels refurbed previously to great standard for 40 per corner. Don't understand why some people spend so much on it seeing as though they could easily get chipped the following day...and that was at my house while I waited. Too easy!

The only problem with having them done at home (mobile) is they look good but dont last long.
