997GT2 wheels on a 996 Turbo
Discussion
The 305/30/19 left the outer edge of the rear rims a little exposed as the tyres were a little stretched!
Going from them to the 325/30/19 actually had benefits.
The ride quality improved slighly due to the very slight increase in side wall height plus the rake of the car was altered slightly as the rear now sits a tad higher - this has all aided front end grip.
I did consider 315/30 or 325/25 tyres but as 9FF recommend and use 325/30/19 Conti V Max tyres on their 1,000+ bhp cars I was more than happy to go with them.
Porsche themselves spec 325/30/19 (PS Cups) on the 997 GT2 RS and that works fine.
With correctly set suspension (mine has Manthey specific KW setup) and geo my car handles fantastically.

need to check what size tyres are on the ones I'm looking at, wouldnt really want to change the rolling radius, would it affect speedo much?
I run 315/30 and 235/40 on 18s rather than stock 295/30 225/40 which makes my speedo more accurate according to GPS.EDIT: Thats an increase in rolling circumference of 1.8%
