iPod/USB connection boxster 2004

Just got my boxster this weekend and have been trying to find a simple way to get a connection in the front. I have the PCM 2.0 with the 6 cd changer in the front boot. I'm more than happy not to use that if I can get an adapter for those connections. Charging would be nice. Don't want to be running cables through the body unless it's a last resort though.

Any ideas?

Your system will have the MOST fibre optic bus and you can't just tap into it - you need something like a Dension 500 (what I have in my 2004 986) or Mobridge equivalent. The Dension, for example, can pose as your CD changer and you won't even need to take it to a dealership to get it coded.

It does work though beware that the interface can be clunky and slow, especially if you load a large music collection eg 30Gb or more.
