What sort of a job is it to remove engine and replace liner's on a 2005 997 3.6. How much and what are the repair time's? All help is appreciated.
Do you NEED to do this work now or are you just interested?Either way, Baz at Hartech should give you the info..... Please post back when you know though as i would be interested too

Before anyone else states the complexity of what you are suggesting:-
The liners are NOT removable, they are an integral part of the engine crank case castings!
To remove them is a complex machining process that physically bores them out of the engine block. New ones are then fitted into the "holes" left in the block. It's probably the most complex thing that can be done to a 996/997 crank case and requires a total strip down of the engine. Even replacement of 1 will require complete strip down.
Machine out 6 liners and fit 6 new liners + complete rebuild = £ x lots n lots
