Are they real??? Wheels that is...
Discussion
Just picked up some second hand Boxster 3 wheels which look immaculate. The only issue is that the part number on the back does not quite match the OPC numbers. For example:
98736212502 (instead of 98736212500)
98736212707 (instead of 98736212707)
The last digit is different.
From google, I can see the part number as being correct for the wheel type in site based in USA, Lithuania and Russia. But not in western Europe.
Do Porsche have different wheels that look identical for different target markets? For example all markings are in English where we might expect "in Deutschland hergestellt" for the German market and "fabriqué en Allemagne" for the French market, etc.
I am hoping that these are still genuine wheels and will still fit my 2011 Cayman as the size/offset is correct.
