Fancy trying a few different cars on track?
Discussion
Well I did not think this was to bad a price for 2/2.5 hours of fun in someone else's cars.

wish it was a tad closer.

website says said:
The Spydrive experts will show you how to power-drive, glide and pounce as you take control in the driver's seat.
Power-drive? What's that?
I'm not sure they'd want me "gliding" one of their cars round either

Haven't read it all but does look v cheap for a bit of fun if you haven't experienced cars like that, or driving on a track (or simply not on the public road).
Three cars, not four:
BMW ZM Series or Jaguar XKR, then get a feel for the Lotus Elise and Aston Martin DB7 V12 GT
Personally I'd only want to play with the last two!
My concern with this is that you're going through a third party, so what the actual car owners say you are permitted to do with the cars could turn out to be somewhat different from the ticket sellers suggest you can on their website. YMMV!

The bulk of the 2 - 2.5 hours comes from all the safety briefings and waiting around you do with the 20-odd other people booked in the same time slot, before you actually get to drive anything.
After that it's 3 laps in each car that are over too quickly, and you usually don't even get to sample the cars performance properly as the instructor will probably tell you to 'keep it in third all the way around' or something like that to prevent wear on the car's mechanicals and allow them to pack in as many people into the day as they can.
I was bought a similar driving experience as a gift, and this is pretty much what it was like. Learnt a bit about the correct line for the track, but there's only so much you can get from such a short stint. I reckon most of these driving experiences are a waste of time. Wouldn't waste my own money on one unless it was somewhere more focussed on actually teaching you something and ensuring you enjoy the day, like the Porsche Experience Centre.
