Hi all,

I've just bought a nearly new spyder which has the UAI but no iPod lead (with the Porsche 9 pin connector).

Should this be included ?

It was included with my nearly new Turbo.

FWIW it's crap, and the connector falls out the phone all the time.

No problem with mine, it locks into place.

Thanks for the feedback. Dealer (OPC East London) telling me that the iPod leads were not supplied and I need to buy one.

I mentioned that some other friends who bought cars did get the cables and they claim that the "...policy changed last year...".

It's £25 or so but I feel like they're just making it up cos they can't find it.

I didn't get one with my 2010 Cayman.

The courtesy/demo 100-mile old Cayman I had out of OPC Colchester the other week definitely came with one, as it was still in the sealed bag in the cubby. I say was, as I opened it up and used it.

I suspect they should all come with them, as why else would they leave the cable in there on a courtesy car? The documentation in the glove box was all still sealed as well, as if they'd just picked the car up and sent it out as-was.
