PCGB here. So far it has been well worth the membership fee in discounts.

PCGB for me.

The club itself is a bit sh*t, but tbh I love the pedantic arguing in the background so much that it's worth the membership fee for entertainment value alone.

Just read TIPEC's opening gambit..

"The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club (TIPEC) is a non-elitist CLUB,"

I guess that's a dig at PCGB. hehe

Joined both, after two years left one and got heavily involved in the other. smile

It depends what is going on locally, at the time Tipec had nothing local to me so wasn't much use, and I like the way PCGB works with the models of car as well as the local groups.

Dunno which bit of London you're in but you are more than welcome as a non-member to one of our South East London North Kent meets.

Member of both, not really very good in either case, am just in the wrong place. Attend Tipec meets , which I travel to as the local one appears semi dormant, and the PCGB local regions are full of hooray henrys, and 'new car every 2 years' boys, not what I would call enthusiasts. Remain a PCGB member for the fab mag, and Tipec cos PCGB is worse

Know the feeling! have joined a free club that is pretty new. A good bunch of true enthusiasts called "Porsche 924 enthusiast club" which welcomes all Porsche owners as I have a 944 www.porsche924.info
