Thinking of changing my 19" wheels on my 987

Hi folks,
Recently purchased a Boxster S which came with 19" carrera S alloys. Whilst I love the car I'm not a huge fan of the look of these and the thought of having to shell out £1200 quid for a new set of tyres scares me a bit. When I'd originally been looking for a Boxster I'd actually had a 986 in mind with the 18" 5 spoke Carrera's instead, so basically I'm now stupidly moaning that I've got a 987 with 19s instead

Right now I'm toying with the idea of switching what I have for 18s. Does anyone know straight off if the 986 5 spoke carreras will fit OK on a 987? How much of a difference in terms of handling, ride, etc. should I expect moving from 19s to 18s? (Incidentally the car comes with PASM.)
