Museum and factory visit
Discussion
Just planning a trip with the lad and wondering if there were any tips?
Looks like a 500 mile hike from Surrey via Calais so thinking of a four day thing. Is it worth the trip and are they open Saturdays for the factory tour?
Be nice to drive the gt2 how nature intended without having to worry about being put inside!

Museum is well worth a visit. Even the architecture of the building itsself is fantastic.
We went last year as part of a Eurohoon and are doing the factory tour this year. Be good to hear your thoughts after you've been
Not sure if they're open weekends but you can park in the museums underground car park. Something like €8 each for entry and €4 car park charge.

Keep a day free for the museum and use the audio guide. Well worth the time. Half price for Porsche Club members......
Also Mercedes museum on the other side of Stuttgart.
And check the currency on Stuttgarts 'smog' stickers.

Just did the museum today and enjoyed it. Not a massive amount to see but still worth the effort.
Yep did a week or so ago, well worth a visit. On the way back, Stuttgart to Evesham in a day no probs. (Even with the delay at Dover HM Custom & Excise searching the car and checking me over)
Bit gutted ref the half price admission for PCGB members, I had my card with me but didn't think of asking for a discount.
Autobahn and unlimited speed areas was fantastic...... Lorry, slow lane 56MPH, me fast lane 156MPH ..... and legal.
Did the works a couple of years ago - Porsche and Mercedes museums, Audi Forum, V8 Hotel, drove a 1968 911t etc etc. Great week!
