I think I've now found the right car. Its a dark metallic 993 coupe, 1995, Tiptronic, with 46k miles. Best price is £31,500, with a full 12 months parts warranty. Does this seem reasonable?

No, its not, unfortunately

If you want Tiptronic (presumably it's Tiptronic S) then this is an OK price, but resale is fractionally higher for manual cars (not that it should put you off necessarily).

Up to 1995 you may need to check the condition of the wiring loom, as well, as there can be problems. Have a look at www.p-car.com
