Because it's not a racing car. If you think you can tell the difference of an extra 10-15kgs in a 1500kg road car you need to go racing, or stop telling porkies ![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
I meant they look rubbish rather than detrimental to the driving experience. ![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)

Still doesn't make sense to me fella, they're metal so the only cosmetic difference is a tiny shutline.... Each to their own, but I don't understand the hate for sunroofs (I love mine!)
And I'm glad your happy with it, we all like different things, I just prefer a 911 without a sunroof, especially if the 911 in question is called "The endurance racing edition ". I think that's a fairly reasonable comment to make, if it was the St Tropez edition then yes a sunroof would be fitting.

Or look at this way - I'd much rather a coupe with a sunroof than a targa or 'vert. ![thumbup](/inc/images/thumbup.gif)
My old 996 turbo had one.![thumbup](/inc/images/thumbup.gif)
On a sunny day, I reckon I'd even prefer that over a ragtop, where (from experience) there's eventually a point where there's too much wind and sun on a long run.
