Is it just me or does this car seem to have a lot of interior wear for the mileage?
It reached £27,000 but shows as unsold so I presume it was below the reserve? I'm sure the CC team tried their hardest to get the reserve dropped/removed but the seller appears to have stuck to his guns.Is it just me or does this car seem to have a lot of interior wear for the mileage?

If the seller wasn't super desperate to sell then maybe they decided at the price offered may as well just keep it.
Or delusional and expected way way more.

If you don't sell do you pay no fee?

£27k is also the suggested Motorway value. If the seller wasn't super desperate to sell then maybe they decided at the price offered may as well just keep it.
Or delusional and expected way way more.
At that price the highest bidder would have had to pay an extra £1,944 in CC fees, so a decent bid all said and done by the potential buyer.

I'm no expert on prices with these but doesn't seem a lot of cash for a 2016 cayman albeit a 2ltr 4 pot. Quite tempting at that price

I don't know if 27k is high or low or fair.
Considering it had only had one service at 25k miles, a gearbox replacement, scuffed wheels, front and rear bumper respray from an alleged hit and run and a rough looking interior for the miles I would say that it was high. The seller didn't answer any queries either when I checked. Granted it was a very nice spec.Chris Harris really giving this 993RS car the big sell-

He mentions about 5 times that the car is 1 owner from new and only has 10,000 miles
on the clock.
He says the car has been well looked after ??- Harris does not mention the car has been serviced only ONCE in 16 years !
Despite the low mileage it’s pretty unbelievable you would service an RS once in 16 years ??!

As sales pitches go, it was about as cringe as it gets.https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1996-porsche-9...

He was missing a couple of important items though …
The above needed for the full effect he seemed to be going for.

Pointless thing now. Not a car anymore. He was brave enough to drive it around the dual-carriageways of Acton, which is more than I'd do on 28 year old tyres. Everything on it made of rubber/etc will need replacing.... oh no it won't, as it'll just sit in a gilded cage forever.https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1996-porsche-9...

It’ll need recommissioning for sure, but I’d hesitate to call it pointless. Investment bankers.
Hopefully next exceptionally wealthy owner will drive it.
Apparently this Boxster gets trailered to get serviced. I think it would’ve been better to drive the car there and treat it to some new tyres.

It looks a genuine collectors car in top condition (apart from the bonnet chips).
Not sure the premium it’ll fetch will justify the mollycoddling however. It’ll be interesting to see what it makes.

A car very similar to that one offered at a OPC was discussed in the "lots of" thread a few months ago, although from memory it was even redderEither whoever specced it was on crack or else theres some behind the scenes spiteful selection of options and trim from a customer who then cancelled their order to wind up the OPC
Check out the interior
