Didn't it go from £347k to £360k in one step ?
Having found that I preferred my modified 981GT4 to the 991.2 GT3CS ... my recently purchased GT3 is now sold ...
The worse problem is with these low mileage cars that they are white elephants.
Damaged by using them ... damaged by not using them ... catch22.

On the happy side, a good number of people have exchanged a number for something that they should make a mental note now to enjoy, and not stuff away in the hope that it will continue to increase in value ...
Low mileages are a joy and a curse ... maybe just treat it as a new car ?
I really look forward to seeing them out at about, though maybe not at track days !

Out of interest what have you done to the GT4 to make it better than a 991.2 GT3?Having found that I preferred my modified 981GT4 to the 991.2 GT3CS ... my recently purchased GT3 is now sold ...

The least mileage sensitive car that sold from the collection....you could put 25k miles on it and it wouldn’t impact the value. All about provenance and condition....not sure what that says about the market ! Low mileages are a joy and a curse ... maybe just treat it as a new car ?

The GT4 by comparison is more than fast enough on the road and goes as I drive it, rather than going as "it" drives it ... if that makes sense.
In the wet at Anglesey on MPS4S my GT4 was just amazing ... I started off worried that it was a while since I had pressed on in the wet and just "slipped back into it" ... hence my feeling that GT cars should be delivered on these tyres leaving the option to fit Cup2's because the MPS4S' were plenty good enough in the dry both at Donnington and in the afternoon at Anglesey.
Of course Cup2's are better in the dry ... but in the wet they need working harder to warm them up and GT3's don't slide as benignly as the GT4 ... the wider tyres, RWS, weight distribution and extra power really don't help ... making the GT3/MPSC2 combination a much more intimidating partner.
I just love my GT4, I'm making it the way I want it and the learning is in the journey.

I still don’t get the 911R. As a driving experience it’s underwhelming at that price point. Presumably it’s a collector rarity thing.
To be fair one could say that about a lot of cars as well though. Any rare or even semi rare car for almost a decade now has had prices completely out of line with it's actual merits as a driving experience I'd say.Maybe Porsche collectors and fans might like this one https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Did anyone follow this/have any idea why it sold so cheaply ?

Funny how perceptions change, imagine a decade ago saying a 964RS 'only' sold for £100k... https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1992-porsche-9...
