I have just recently purchased a '99 4.2 cerbera which looks magnificent. It was serviced 500 miles ago by tvr power and having driven the long road from East Midlands to Glasgow everything was going well. However after only two days the car has caved in! I have had it picked up and taken to my local mechanic who is very good and did some work on my griff, but could do with a spec. sheet as my local tvr garage is 80 miles away, even if it is just to get the car up there. Can anyone help?

You're struggling there .. no such things as spec sheets from TVR .. there's some ex e-bay cerbera data manuals stuff floating around but much of it is out of date. If you're only 80 miles from the TVR place take it there, after all 80 miles is nothing to get the car running great again, people travel 300 miles plus to get to servicing agents they want to use so you're just not trying!!! LOL

thanks for that but if i could get the car there i would have done, it won't travel 8 miles at the minute never mind 80 however i've spoken to dreadnought and hopefully we can get to the bottom of it, thanks anyway.

Gally,
the car was dropped off at dreadnought yesterday and would you believe drove into the workshop! the car idles ok but as soon as you dip the throttle it dies. who knows but it's in the best place i just hope it doesn't cost huge amounts having just had it two days.

How did you get on with the cerb?

The guys at Dreadnought are really good guys. I've started taking my MG's there now....cos Claire & Paul are the only people I trust now.
