Didn't fancy an MPV, so bought one of these instead.

It's an E430 Avantgarde. A tidy example with surprising fuel economy if taken easy!

Seven seater in the loosest sense of the word, even children will be uncomfortable in the back of that for more than 30 mins.

Notwithstanding that, hope you enjoy it =]

The Children/child has been more than comfortable in the back on journeys far in excess of 30 minutes.;) Although I have no intention of carrying adults back there.

Beats most boring MPV's I would have thought - good choice.

Mmm, I've just been looking for exactly the same thing after my wife informed me that we need 7 seats. I tried to protest that we only have 2 kids but it was no good. Anyway, these seem very reasonably priced for what they are, hope it works out.

We had a E320 CDI for 7 years , rear seats arent a daily option though , a rear end shunt could spell disaster but we used ours for occasional trips much more fun than a MPV for sure

Yeah, they are occaisional.

Interesting point of view on the rear end shunt. The rear most seats in an MPV all tend to have your head about six inches or less from the back window, but in cars with rear facing, your much further back. Why would it be worse?

That's not a "disaster" though.

Well in safety test they tend to come out much worse i'm guessing the fact the kids feet are inches from the tailgate and the bumper will likely be the point of impact in most crashes plus the seats dont lock in the upright position

On longer trips the kids can get car sick as well smile
