Looks good always had a soft spot for these as 'up and comers' alas badge snobs are not keen on them.

Whats the outputs on one of these? Also how much is a good one nowadays?

Looks great, not sold on the zaust though, little big and sits a little funny for my liking but overall very nice.

1.8T with 180Bhp, AT says group "16D" what that means in real terms only a couple of quotes will tell tbh.

My mate has lightly modded 250hp one and i have a PD VRS Mk2 with 198hp big fan of the octy, cheap fun but very practical

Some nice new plates would improve it a lot though

Very nice, think my next car will be one of these. What was fuel consumption like post tuning?

Any interior shots?

I had one of these a few years back. Was very impressed with the all round ability. Seemed to get the best out of the 1.8T unit and had a lot more character than the VW/Seat equivalents.

Quick when needed. Effortless cruiser too.

Loved it. Actually prefer the MK1 to the MK2 as the MK2 seems a bit more common and has lost some of the 'insider knowledge' feel of the MK1.

fuels pretty good was doing 45mpg on a run to cornwall,so pretty good,if u give it full beans the needle does drop quite a bit,i was a bit marmite about the exhaust,it was a custom from a chap who write off his vrs and was breaking it,its one piece from turbo back,it sounds wicked pops and crackles on overun, its soon grown on me and love it to bits, insurance is pretty cheap at £330 alot cheaper than the scooby i was running,
powerwise its running around 235hp,just saving for a fmic then ill get a p-torque stage 2 which should see around 250hp,anyone thinking of buying one, they are a amazing car for the money 4k should see a very low milage example.

Lovely.

Also not keen on the exhaust though. Could you not go to another custom exhaust place and get a more fitting tip fitted?

yeah never thought of that,u can see where the tip is welded to the backbox,so shouldnt be a hard job,it sits pretty low cause the backbox is pretty fat,it could do going a inch higher to fill the cutout.
