My Mk3 MX5 (and previous Clio)
Discussion
Well I've been lurking around here for a while and thought I'd join up and get involved.
My first car was a 2003 1.2 8v Black Renault Clio. It was relatively cheap to insure and it only went wrong once in the 4 years I had it. Only downside really was it's increadible slowness (0-60 in 15 seconds I think).
I didn't really do anything with it apart from add a CD player as it came with a cassette player and at one point I’ll admit to having some car seat covers which were unbelievably tacky but at 17 I thought they were really cool!
So here it is in all its glory:
This then made way for my Mk3 Mazda MX-5 2.0l which I got in June 2009. I've really enjoyed the car so far, nothing beats a nice top down drive through the countryside and really can't see me selling it for a long time. Like the Clio I've done no modifications to it, although I'm planning on getting it lowered in the next few weeks now I'm another year older so the insurance cost to have it done is no longer ridiculously more than having it standard.
Anyways here she is:
