It's been a couple of years since I have taken the time to take a few pics. It has only just come out to play this year, on Friday, so now was a good a time as any. Here we go.

The suspension has been taken as far as it can on a road car, really. Polybushed throughout, Koni SSK with Apex springs and an uprated rear anti-roll bar. It also has spherical rod end drop links that I knocked up myself. Also the strut braces are another home brew as well. It sits on Toyo T1-R's all round.

The brakes were sand blasted and rebuilt a few years back. The discs are stock, as are the calipers, the front pads are uprated as well with some Ferodo Ds series jobs.

Here's a few interior shots, I replaced the seats a couple of years ago now, as the old ones buggered my back up, with these Corbeau jobs. Also there is a momo wheel and a Halfords/Ripspeed gear knob that I got for a fiver. I'm not adverse to being a bit on the cheap side if I can smile

I also cleaned and repainted the spare wheel well this year as well. I retrimmed the boot carpet last year with some speaker cabinet carpet as Toyota want £40 quid for a piece of plastic with some grey mould growing on it. No thanks.

Engine bay all spruced up. I have just found the joys of silicon spray. Nice shine, little work.

Something I'm particular proud of and new for 2010, a brand new Toyota 'box. Theres also a Scorpion exhast in shot as well.

I am now into my 10th year of owning it now. The summers here and all there is to do is get on out there and enjoy it, including a 'ring trip next month. In fact what the hell am I doing here smile

That is a lovely example. I would love to own one of those, in that condition.

Fantastic car. I can't believe the condition it's in, it looks new.

Love the mk1, makes subsequent cars look flabby. thumbup

Thanks guys, much appreciated. It is a bit of a full time job keeping on top of it all. Also its not really a low milage job either, just coming up to 135,000 miles anytime soon.

Thanks Kit, your earlier post was what made me get up off my arse and take a few.

Looks clean! Are those wheels Mille Miglias? I got some that look identical with my MX5, since gone back to standard. I want to sell them but know nothing about them!

Hello JF
Yes they are Mille Miglia rims and the model is called chronos. I bought mine new back in 2001 so I'm guessing they may well have been out of production for a while now.
I like em though.
