... So those of you that know me I have been thinking about replacing the old car for ages but could not figure out what to get.

So here is the old car a lovely Peugeot 206 2L HDI, it has a whole 90BHP !! A driving machine

So had nailed the options down to...

Nissan 350Z
Ford Focus ST3
Honda S2000
Mazda 3MPS

and a few more but too boring to list, my requirements were basically need a carry a surf board on the roof and be fun and interesting to drive.

So last Friday decided to look at the website of a local a garage I pass on the way to work (the view is better going home)

There it was looking lovely and a little excited I made the call made to the dealership.

Then Saturday I went over out for a test drive and deposit paid. Service done this Tuesday and picked it up yesterday so now for a couple of photos...

I'm so chuffed and still a huge smile on my face (just got to remember that it's petrol not diesel), what do you think??

Congrats on your new car.

But you chose an R32 over a 350Z? Was this purely for practical reasons?

In a word yes mostly roof space really for boards etc... and I think the R32 is a less common I think and just a little different.

Good choice! I used to have one and loved it. Then I had to sell it to pay stamp duty on a house purchase. Gordon Brown was Chancellor at the time and watching my car drive away so that I could give the proceeds to him nearly made me cry.

Enjoy.

Good point. Tracker first and then the Milltek after.

Too true but I'm 27 been going out with the misses for four years and who know what she may want in the future... time to have some fun. As for the commute I intentionally don't have the display telling me the MPG! Out of sight out of mind

Needless to say I did not put my foot down and let him have the glory, he is the big man!!

No one told me that I will now have to aviod the little scrotes now I have a nice car this will not only change the way I drive but change peoples persceptions of me.

This happens a lot actually. I've had more attention from the yoofs with my r32 than I did with a VX220 Turbo!
