myself and a mate built the whole car, his dad owns a Tube and Cage business, that produce cages for Prodrive, M-Sport etc. As for our own design, one we wanted weld in, as its safer, and our cage fits more snugly to the shell than (we believe) any other cage for the 205 out there at the moment. We're both welders/fabricators, so having computerised measuring hardware (FARO arm) and CNC bending facilities, it seemed silly not to give it a go. I've probably made it seem like quite a jolly affair, but rest assured it conforms to all relavent regulations. Finally, we both felt double doorbars are safer than single, as we used to have.

I've got a build thread I'll dig out from somewhere, haven't updated in ages though! We're going to be rallying it in the 205 challenge, if it ever gets done! As per the old red one.
