My latest toy. MK1 Jedi running MK4 bodywork, 1370cc Suzuki GSXR, 215bhp/295kg. Lots of mods over the years to improve chassis/handling/braking. Nut and bolt rebuild a few years ago. I'm new to hillclimbing and single seaters so a bit of a babtism of fire. It's mind bendingly fast vs anything I've driven before, ( circa twice the power to weight ratio of a Ferrari 430 )and is great fun. Bit like a ballistic go kart really. I really miss my TVR but letting rip in this on a clear piece of smooth twisting tarmac is addictive and I would recommend trying something similar to anybody.

If only there is a way of making it road legal it would really improve my daily commute!

Fantastic. What does something like this cost if you don't mind me asking?

Nice smokin

Care to give a rough idea of cost of the car, running costs and entry costs to events?

I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering/dreaming. smile

I've always wondered about these things - they are designed for hill climbs, but is there anything to stop you from using them on a circuit?

Possibly issues with the wheels being exposed at some circuits (on a normal track day)?

Not quite - put an 80kg driver into your calculation, and 295 may be the dry weight.

You'd have to run on a proper 'Test Day' rather than a trackday, and the gearing might be all wrong.
