The cars nothing special but not too shabby for a first car, hoping to get a megane sport and make it into a R26R over the summer but washed down the mg earlier and took some photos and had a play with photoshop what do you all think?

Nice car, but your comment regarding the Megane Sport into a R26.R...is that just in looks or actual performance?

i am but its too chavvy for my liking, not my sort of style! im a golfer for a start! so looking at alternatives now ive saved up and got some more capital to play with, as for insurance because i didnt want to put it in mum or dads name and declared all the mods worked out just short of £2900 but ive paid it from what i earn and i bought the car so to me its worth it if it puts a smile on my face smile

bit of both, would boost the power to about 120-130bhp hopefully but strip it out, and get the roll cage, seats etc in, some new alloys, tyres, brakes and suspension, exhaust and bumpers, also get some perspex windows and have it re sprayed a completely different colour to black (intend on having a black one to start with) but will wait and see how far my money stretches, wont be anywhere near as quick as a R26R hopefully it will handle well and set some good times round the tracks smile
Sounds like a good idea mate thumbup

Nice ZR mate smile Got a xpower grey one myself. 1.4 too.

One question RE the 108bhp, was this with or without that cold air feed induction kit? Just wondering as they are well known for heatsoak in the ZR and losing power?

Like the megane idea too!

Looks nice in yellow. Seen a few that have faded aswell.

I learnt in an MG ZR, was a 1.4 but in Trophy Blue.

The 1.4 MG ZR is an excellent first car! Look good, cheap to run and insure, etc. Looks smart in yellow smile

Looks nice, Shame about the lack of skirts. Can't believe they did this!

What mods have you done to get 108bhp?

yeah yellow is a pain though in many ways although i love it, blue looks good, not the easiest of cars to learn in as they tend to disintegrate as you drive along lol
It was a lot more reliable than the Mini One before it.
