I'm in desperate need of some safe, secure and dry storage for my Lincoln in the Twickenham, Kingston, Richmond area. Does anybody know of any good places / spaces for rent? I've looked on Gumtree, Parklet and YourParkingSpace but to no avail...

cheers in advance

I was looking for a garage recently - was being quoted £50/week privately. Then someone told me the council rented garages and I got one near my work for £11/week. Doesn't have electricity supply though.

At a guess the OP may struggle to fit a Lincoln into a standard UK council garage.

I'd start with local coach and truck companies, they normally store their vehicles in a secure compound. Unfortunately you will always end up paying a lot for rental in your area.

cheers for that. There's plenty of driveway space available but i really want/need to garage the car. I've found a place fairly locally but they want about £200 a month!!! I'm trying to avoid spending the better part of two and a half grand on parking my car.

Might be worth looking up any local commercial agents who do block management of residential/commercial developments. They will often manage batteries of garages and underground parking spaces. Try ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) or The Estates Gazette for a list of local commercial/ block managing agents.
