Been on this site a little while, so thought I'd post up a couple of pics of my new pride and joy. Sorry for the quality, cameraphone job.

Bought the car on Monday and loving it. It's had one owner, full Porsche history, 70,000 miles and came with over £10k of extras including xenons, pan european Sat nav, body coloured transmission tunnel, aluminium bits all over the place, full leather, Turbo S alloys, blah, blah, blah.....

Just been to Brighton for the day and apart from the rain, it was great. Stumbled upon the 25th Anniversary of the London to Brighton Mini run which was a bonus too.

Edited to add that there was also an Yamaha FS1E run at Brighton and they had my very first wheels there. cloud9

Looks very tasty! I love dark grey on Boxsters, shame you don't see it on more 986's! smile

Love it. Bet it's quick.

Black leather interior with graphite exterior looks very nice. Does it ride ok with those big wheels?

I'm trying to pursuade my Mrs that she needs to replace her rusty Eunos with a Boxster at the moment. She wants to buy a house instead. Boooo!

Thanks all. The ride is fine on the 18" alloys. It's not overly quick but certainly quick enough for a nice drive around the country. Wouldn't really need much more power to be honest, and with the roof down it's lovely just to pootle about in.

Not looking forward to the 72K service it's due mind you. But got the car for a good(ish) price so not going to worry about the cost of it too much.

Still haven't figured out of the wipers are rain sensing or now, the just generally seem to have a life of their own. And the cost of some of the options new makes my eyes water - £600 just to have the centre console look a bit aluminiumy. yikes
