So, after swapping cars a few times over the last few months, due to my ongoing health problems, I have found a car that is perfect for my needs, & bar major disasters is a keeper, "The one".

She is a '98 XJR in metallic Cardinal red, with full Jaguar service history, all the known problems sorted, ie tensions, water pump etc, interior is mint, even the drivers seat bolster, & drives abso bloody lutely fantastically!!!

I don't usually give my cars a name, but for obvious reasons she is Rio.

cracking piece of kit in my opinion. Have always loved these and if the engine has been sorted then great value for money.
Looks lurverly on those wheels.
Do you mind me asking how much it set you back? Mileage?

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
The number plate is being done tomorrow, its the first job after the wash & polish!
Mileage is 135k, but you would never know, interior doesn't have a mark anywhere, & the drive is sublime.
The only fault it has is a bit of lacquer peel on the bonnet, but for the price I paid I can afford to get the bonnet resprayed.

I paid £3k.

My father had one identical to that. Fantastic car to drive, and I had no idea you could get one for £3k. Hmmm.....

Thanks for the nice comment.

The mods are in my plans for sure, along with a modified ECU, when I have done plenty of research.
Still can't believe the surge of instant power combined with such a fantastic ride, & in almost complete silence. Mind you, I am hoping a different exhaust lets me hear a little more of the V8!

I've already posted but this car is really nice. There is a lot to be said about a Jaguar engine with the words Supercharged emblazoned on the top. Genuinely envious.
